RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Our Promise

We want you to be confident in your purchase. If something's not right, we'll make it right.

30-Day Return Window

Changed your mind? Return unused, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be in original packaging
  • All parts, accessories, and documentation included
  • No signs of installation or use
  • Product labels and tags intact

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us first: Call 021 086 43056 or email Hamish@southernperformance.co.nz
  2. Get authorization: We'll provide a return authorization number
  3. Pack securely: Use original packaging if possible
  4. Ship it back: You're responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty

Return shipping address will be provided when you contact us.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approved returns: Full refund processed within 5-7 business days
  • Original shipping costs: Non-refundable (unless item was faulty/wrong)
  • Refund method: Same payment method you used to purchase

Wrong Item or Faulty Products

If we sent the wrong item or something arrived damaged/faulty:

  • We cover return shipping
  • We'll send a replacement or full refund (your choice)
  • Priority processing - we'll sort it fast

Warranty Claims

All products carry manufacturer warranties:

  • Profender: 2-year warranty
  • Dobinsons: 2-year warranty
  • MCC 4x4: 3-year warranty on steel, 1-year on powder coating
  • Other brands: Warranty period varies - contact us for details

For warranty claims:

  1. Contact us with your order number and photos/description of the issue
  2. We'll assess and coordinate with the manufacturer
  3. Approved claims: Replacement or repair at no cost to you

Warranty doesn't cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from incorrect installation
  • Damage from misuse or accidents
  • Modifications to the product

Installation Issues

We strongly recommend professional installation for lift kits, suspension components, and bull bars.

If you have fitment concerns BEFORE installing:

  • Stop and contact us: 021 086 43056
  • We'll help you verify fitment
  • Don't install if you're unsure - we can't accept returns on installed products

Exchanges

Want to exchange for a different product?

  • Return the original item (within 30 days, unused)
  • Place a new order for the item you want
  • We'll refund the original purchase once we receive the return
